I've Returned

Okay so I didn't exactly go anywhere, I just haven't had the time or energy to update my poor neglected blog. So without further ado here's what's going on...

I've got three projects on needles now and not one is even close to completion. I've casted on for a matching beret to the cravat I finally finished, but that's as far as that project has gotten. I'm also trying my hardest to finish up two lace-style scarves, I don't know what I got myself into. There just never seems to be enough time in my day to knit as much as I would like. Working full-time, chasing a teething ten month old and staying on top of a twelve year old have been quite straining on personal time. But hey, everything will work itself out in the end.

I've made a promise to myself not to buy anymore yarn until my projects are completed. Haha, a promise soon to be broken when I enter Stiches West this weekend. Luckily I've given myself a monetary limit that will not be compromised 'cause once it's gone, it's gone. It's my first time to this event and I'm really excited, I hope to get some cool ideas for future projects.

I'm off now to spend some quality time with the baby, 'til next time... (I promise it won't be too long)
